Website Promotion : How you can do that

Some companies providing services may allow their customers to send inquiries or make appointments too see them via their websites. Alternatively, most companies selling physical products allow their customers to buy their goods via their websites. Therefore, we can see that websites are very important for online business. Let’s think about yours. Your website may look so cool, be working properly but it will be useless if nobody knows that you have a website so one of important processes is website promotion. Todays I would like to give you some ideas how you can promote your website.
- Search Engine : As I said before that Search Engines have been increasingly used by Internet users when they are looking for something so if you really want to promote your website, you should make your site available in at least first three search result pages by probably doing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising. There are two main choices for you. The first one is you may do it in-house or by yourself or the second one is you hire online marketing company who has experiences and knowledge do it for you.
- Adserving : Adserving is also very effective for website promotion since bascially with Adserving, your ads, which can be text ads, image ads, banners or video ads, will be displayed in other websites whose contents are related to your website’s. This can also help you increase your brand awareness since for example you can add your business logo or trademark in your banner.
- Affiliate Program : Also, you may let other people help you promote your website or even sell your products by creating the affiliate program. It depends on you about how and how much you will pay them. For instance, you may pay them per lead / sale. Normally, these people have their own websites or blogs and they place your ads into their websites / blogs to bring visitors to your site.
- Blog : Blog is a good place to publish your articles related to your business since sometimes your customers are not just looking for your products, they may be looking for additional information like product manual, tips to use your products or news related to your products. Therefore, publishing and updating this kind of information can keep customers to come to your site. Also, if information in your blog is shared, probably by RSS feed or social bookmark, it can increaes your website visibility as well.
- Offline Media / Advertising : If you are advertising your business via some offline media like television, radio, billboard, newspaper or magazine, don’t forget to include your website URL.
- Paper Materials : If you always provide paper materials like business card, leaflet, brochure, folder, etc to your customers, don’t forget to add your website URL in these materials.
